New Adventure

Today starts a new journey in my 30 years of ministry. This morning is my first day to serve as the Lead State Missionary or Executive Director/Treasurer of the Baptist State Convention of Michigan. It is a ministry that I would have never imagined God would place me in, but His direction has been undeniable. If you'd like to see some of the journey click HERE and HERE. My 10 years as an Associational Director of Missions has been most rewarding. Exactly what God had designed me to do. But now, a new chapter.

On October 27, 2010, the convention elected me to be their fourth servant-leader. After being elected, I presented the following challenge if you'd like to see the video of the message. It includes me singing a closing song with the Africian-American Choir from Middlebelt Baptist Church in Inkster.

In addition to my new ministry, Brenda begins a new full-time preschool teaching position in a Montessori school about 40 minutes drive from the house. Please remember her as she commutes and begins a new journey too. She is now halfway through with her one year certification to be a Lead Montessori Teacher.
